How to use this index
A short orientation to the ranked sections, tags and expand controls.

What this is#
A ranked list of websites that have been tried and are worth using, plus the ones that aren't. Every entry has honest pros and cons — an entry with only pros is a recommendation, an entry with only cons is a warning.
Ranks are opinionated. They are not a scientific measurement, and they are not permanent. What matters is that the reasoning is written down so you can decide for yourself.
The sections#
Pick the section that matches what you are trying to do, rather than browsing everything:
- Anime Streaming — watching anime, plus the trackers worth keeping
- Manga & Manhwa — readers and trackers for comics
- Software & Tools — free and open-source applications
- Music & Audio — streaming, lossless downloads, libraries, radio
Each section is ordered best-first. Site 1 is the one we would recommend if you only bookmarked one.
Reading an entry#
Each row expands to show the full breakdown:
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Rank | Position within the section, 1 = best |
| Tags | Attributes worth knowing before you click |
| Pros | Why it's worth using |
| Cons | What genuinely annoys people about it |
| FYI | A caveat that doesn't fit neatly in either list |
| Mirrors | Alternate domains, when the main one is having a bad week |
Expanded rows stay expanded. Open as many as you like, then navigate somewhere else and come back — your selection is remembered, and it survives a full page refresh.
Pinned entries sit in a strip at the very top of the home page, and the Pins link in the top bar jumps to them from anywhere on the site. Rows that are pinned carry a small pin icon beside their name.
Tags#
Tags are the fast way to narrow a long list. Combine them to answer specific questions:
NO-ADS+FREE— nothing to sign up for, nothing to click pastOFFICIAL— licensed, so it will not vanish overnightTRACK— not somewhere to watch, but the best way to keep track of what you have seenNSFW— unfiltered adult content; every reader on this list with this tag will show it unless you change a setting first
When a site doesn't load#
There is no automated availability check, so if a site fails to load, check your own connection first — then try the mirrors listed on its entry, since a domain that has moved usually keeps working on an old address.
If a site here is dead and has no working mirror, tell us. Sites that shut down or get seized move to the graveyard with a reason rather than quietly disappearing.
Contributing#
The fastest way to help is the suggest a site page: everything goes through the community Discord, where suggestions, corrections and dead-link reports are all read. Corrections to existing entries are just as welcome as new ones, and usually get made faster.
Using it properly#
This is a directory. It does not host any of the content it links to, and it is not affiliated with anything listed here. You are responsible for complying with the law where you live.
