About this index
A place to discover websites for anime, manga, and more, with straightforward notes on what each site offers, what works well, and what to keep in mind before visiting.
Inside the directory
The aim is simple: make useful sites easier to discover and compare without having to open dozens of tabs just to figure out what they offer.
The index currently lists 7 sites across 25 sections, with 6 retired entries kept on record.
How listings work
Listings are reviewed individually and focus on practical details, not just a site's features. We include both strengths and drawbacks where there's enough information to assess them, along with an FYI note for anything else worth knowing.
Rankings follow published criteria rather than paid placement. They are meant to help you compare your options, not tell you that there's only one right choice.
Community and updates
Sites change, links break, and better alternatives appear. Community suggestions and corrections help keep the directory up to date. Entries aren't included because a site asks to be featured, and every change is logged on the changelog.
Found something outdated or missing? Suggest a site or send a correction through the contribution page, or say it directly in the community Discord — suggestions and dead-link reports all land in the same place.
A few things to know
- This is an index, not a hosting service. Files, streams, and other media are not served from this site.
- Listings are independent references, not endorsements. We are not affiliated with the sites listed or paid to promote them.
- Any third-party tools mentioned in our guides are separate projects and are not affiliated with this index.
- Listings are provided for reference. Check each site yourself and follow the laws that apply where you live.
How the site is built
The directory is maintained in YAML, while the guides are written in Markdown. The pages are generated as static HTML during builds, so the index itself doesn't need a database or a runtime API to serve its content.
